Perhaps Contraption

Perhaps Contraption is some sort of twisted brass, progressive marching band.

“Completely extraordinary” – Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music
This truly unique, multi-vocal troupe meld elements of art pop, oompah and post-minimalism. The high energy performances are full of exuberant choral harmonies, choreography and intricate grooves.
Since forming in April 2011 Perhaps Contraption have paraded all over the art and music scene; at prestigious events such as Glastonbury, The Secret Garden Party, Bestival, Artisti in Piazza (Italy), Wilderness, Rumpus, Latitude, Lovebox, The Last Tuesday Society, London 2012 Olympic Games and major at venues including The Scala and The Roundhouse. Having just returned from a USA tour and a European tour supporting Amanda Palmer, they are about to record their next album. It is expected to arrive in springtime.
Whether leading jubilant parades, fully amplified stage shows, or pop up street performances, Perhaps Contraption create an unforgettable live experience.
