The LONDON FOLK GUILD are pleased to announce the details of their stage at WILDERNESS FESTIVAL at Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire, August 08-11 2013.

Cut A Shine, The English Folk Dance & Song Society, Global Local, Green Note, Kings Place, The Local, Nest Collective, Two For Joy and Pull Up The Roots are a collaboration of like-minded venues, independent promoters and festival programmers who make up the London Folk Guild. All working in and exploring the realms of folk and acoustic music from the UK and around the world, the London Folk Guild have established a reputation for creating arguably one of the finest stages at Wilderness.

Or home will be a big beautiful wooden barn where you can expect to find hidden gems, from high-energy foot-stomping music to introspective and quirky songwriting. There is also a real ale bar to oil the pipes and keep you settled in with us for a good spell of folk indulgence.

The 2013 line-up for the Wilderness stage features some of the most exciting emerging and established artists currently working on the scene, from the UK’s beloved Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo to the astonishing voice of Soledad Velez (Spain); and from the prolific wanderlust of Equinox, The Peacekeeper (Belgium) to the home-made charm of Japan’s ICHI. We are delighted to welcome Woodpecker Wooliams, whose new album ‘The Bird School of Being Human’ is receiving a fantastic response from press and fans alike, and Mary Epworth, fresh from SXSW in Austin, Texas.
